- How does a sports card scanner work?
- You photograph the card and the scanner reads what is printed on it: the player, the year, the set and the card number. It matches that against a catalog of cards, and once the card is identified it is priced from sales that actually closed rather than from asking prices.
- Is the sports card scanner free?

- Which cards can it scan?
- Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer and other sports, vintage and modern. Sports cards only.
- How accurate is the value?
- The value is an estimate drawn from recent closed sales of the same card. Condition, grade, centering and autographs move what a single copy sells for, so a graded or damaged card can sell well above or below it.
- Do I need the app?
